In Memoriam: Troy Sprout
The PNDYBL family has lost a beloved member, Troy Sprout (photo below). Troy passed away on December 16, 2015 after a long and arduous battle with cancer. He volunteered his time to coach youth baseball in our organization and to improve our fields and facilities. All children who play PNDYBL baseball and their families, as well as the players and families of every visiting team who plays on our fields, are touched by Troy's kindness and dedication even if they aren't aware of it, because many of the facilities that we use almost daily during the baseball season at our Thomas Jefferson Fields location were built by Troy. Some of these things include:
What is truly inspirational is that he carried out many of these projects while he was undergoing treatment for his illness. Troy also did a lot for our organization behind the scenes and preferred to work anonymously. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family. He will be missed, but his presence will be felt by us every spring and summer whenever we're at Thomas Jefferson Fields.

and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works."
PNDYBL 2015 Highlights
"Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona. Not all holes, or games, are created equal."
